Born in Newfoundland, Diane began her ‘working years’ in administration in Dartmouth in the insurance field, then with the Federal Government in NF, and back to Dartmouth with Micmac Mall in the early years of their opening. Administration in the food/beverage and local music industry brought her the privilege of meeting many local musicians and eventually led her to the hospitality industry where she was employed by Nova Scotia Tourism for five years, then later worked for a local hotel for fifteen years. “I learned so much about our wonderful province of Nova Scotia, and came to appreciate the natural beauty, history, food and culture of our great province.”
She retired from full-time employment with a Seniors Center in Dartmouth in 2017. Seeking a part-time alternative, she feels fortunate to have been hired by St. Paul’s Church in the spring of 2018 accepting the newly created position of Administrative Assistant.
She has one daughter, enjoys socializing with friends and family, and after living in Halifax for many years still loves to discover new restaurants and other attractions that Halifax has to offer.
