What's so special about Jesus? 

Christians believe that Jesus is nothing less than God himself who has
entered our world and shared fully in our human experience. 

On one occasion Jesus asked his followers, "Who do you think I am?".  The answer that came back was, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God." 

As they lived with him and watched him day by day his followers had
come to the conviction that this man was truly unique-not only because of his powerful teaching and amazing miracles-but because his life was so perfectly consistent with the ideals he taught. 

If that had not been enough, when they witnessed him going to the death for them and then a few days later discovered that he was alive once more, they realized that this man deserved nothing less than their complete and wholehearted commitment. 

Ever since then, men and women have been discovering for themselves that Jesus still lives today, and that he is able to touch our lives with his
healing and renew us with his love in the same way that he did with his
first followers centuries ago.
