Worship Services at St. Paul's

Worship is an expression of our praise to God as our Creator and Saviour.  At St Paul's there are many opportunities to worship. Weekly services are held (on Sundays and Wednesdays) in different styles of liturgy and music.

Here is our regular service schedule:

Contemporary Service, Sundays, 9:00 a.m.
This service alternates between Morning Prayer and Holy Eucharist, using the BAS and contemporary prayers. It features contemporary praise songs and some traditional hymns and is accompanied by music team of singers and instrumentalists (guitar, bass, drums, piano, flutes, violins, etc.).  University students, kids and non-Anglicans are especially welcome! Children's programs take place at the same time as this service. A team is also present to pray privately with people during the distribution of the elements at Communion.

Traditional Service, Sundays, 11:00 a.m.
The 11:00 service is a more formal and uses the Book of Common Prayer. Music in the service is traditional hymns with choir and organ. This service also alternates between Morning Prayer and Holy Eucharist.

Combined Services, Selected Sundays, 10:00 a.m.

Several times during the year, our parish comes together for one "shared" or "combined" service of worship (always Holy Eucharist). The style of worship alternates between our contemporary and traditional services. Usually, these services take place on key dates in the Church year, like Advent, Christmas, All Saints, Easter and Pentecost. Please check the home page of the website for service information or contact the church office at 429-2240.

Holy Eucharist, Wednesdays, 11:00 a.m.
This mid-week service of Holy Eucharist is held in the Chapel. The service is said, using the Book of Common Prayer.
