Thanksgiving Sunday at St. Paul’s

By | Uncategorized

Hello everyone,

Our national day of Thanksgiving is upon us and our parish has much for which to be thankful—and so do we all.

We look forward to a Sunday service with two opportunities to offer ‘thank offerings’ to God at a very special offertory procession on Sunday:

Items of food for our in-house outreach (list below) and gifts of money for our refugee project (to be placed in Thanksgiving envelopes you have or will be made available to you on Sunday morning). Help us raise a genuine chorus of praise to our Creator and Redeemer!

Please consider bringing one or more non-perishable food items as a Thanksgiving offering on Sunday, 11 October. All items collected will be used to help those who attend The FISH Coffeehouse and/or the Wednesday Lunches, two of our valued outreach programs.

In order to provide the most needed items, please select from the following lists:

Rector’s Lunch
• Long grain rice
• Small pastas (macaroni, penne, shells)
• Canned beans (kidney or white)
• Canned tomatoes (diced or ground)
• Split green peas (bag)
• Red lentils (bag)
• Bouillon cubes (beef, chicken, or vegetable)
• Low sodium chicken broth ( can or tetra box)
• Tomato juice (large can)
The FISH Coffeehouse
• Cookies
• Tea bags (herbal)
• Hot chocolate powder
• Apple juice ( large can)
• Frozen juice
• V8 Juice

The LORD will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest. Psalm 85:12
